Our School’s delegation pays the visit to the American Nasa Nazareth college on invitation from Dec.14th 2008 to Dec.19th 2008. The delegation were combined with chief Vice president of Graduate School of China Art Academy Gao Xianli, president’s assistant, graduate school’s president Zhang Xiaoling, graduate school’s vice president Sun Jianjun, China Literature Yearbook’s vice chief editor Zhu Dongli, graduate school’ office director Ding Yan, and clinic director Zhang Xinying. This is the first visit after signing the memorandum by our two school during the Nasa Nazareth college two times visiting. The delegation deeply investigated the administration, teaching and basic equipment during the time visited the Nasa Nazareth college’s Art and Scientific School. This visit prompted the two school’s international communication and cooperation, and opens a new page for the graduate school of internationalization.

　　Nasa Nazareth college is very attentively on this visit. The University’s president Mr. Daan Braveman, teaching affairs vice president Miss. Sara B. Varhus, and Art and Scientific School’s president Miss. Deborah Dooley were separately interviewed our delegation in the president office and breakfast reception, and took the photo. Teaching affairs vice president’s assistant, international education office director Mr. George Eisen, Art and Scientific School’s art department director Mitch Messina, music department director James Douthit, drama department director Lindsay Reading Korth, drama department vice professor Miss. Zhao Yuanting, history department director Nevan Fisher, religion department assistant professor Miss. Zhang Lili and Chinese teacher Miss. Sun Hui were all attend the reception with our delegation. This is a substantial talk, and both sides reached agreement on short time exchange students. Language training and offer the experts to give the lecture in different culture. “Our communication will be started by the short time exchange students from the middle of May next year, and then we will go on with exchange teachers. We want the students know more things about the world and become more international. We don’t need to worry about the students because we are cooperation with each other,” said by the Teaching affairs vice president’s assistant, international education office director George Eisen. “Communication will be started from the short time exchange students program. We can send the experts of movie, drama, music, art and old-lute performers for lectures here. We can send 10 postgraduate students here for short time study in next summer vocation, and then enlarge this kind of communication to promote the development of our two schools’ communication and cooperation,” said by graduate school’s president Zhang Xiaoling when the two talked about the communication and cooperation. When they talked about the visa problems, George said “We will try our best to ensure the visa problems. And we can go to the embassy to illustrate the cooperation program if it is needed.” At last, vice president Gao Xianli send his feelings and thankfulness, and hope two school can have more deeply communication and cooperation.

Art and Scientific School’s art department director Mitch Messina, music department director James Douthit and drama department director Lindsay Reading Korth visit the Nasa Nazareth college’s teaching building and facilities of art, music, and drama department with our delegation, and also the art’s center and main official building.

　　Nasa Nazareth college is a private integrated university and has the history as long as 85 years old. It has more than 40 arts undergraduate majors and 20 graduate majors, including education, commercial, and physical therapy and so on. It own has a lot of schools, such as art and scientific school, education school, management school, and health and social service school. Also art department, music department, drama department and so on, such complete subjects. There are students who study its physiotherapy from all over the world because music therapy and art therapy are the features of Nasa Nazareth college.

　　Nasa Nazareth college has widely international communication and cooperation, and it has already established cooperation relationship with Britain, German, France, Austria, Australia, China, India, Malaysia, Taiwan and so on. And there are about 200 foreign students who study in this school from different places all over the world.

　　Carrying out international communication and cooperation are very important on developing the strategies between two schools. This visit strengthened the understanding of Nasa Nazareth college, and promoted the cooperation. Two schools will push the communication relationship into a new period by this visit.
