In previous years of postgraduates cultivation, it has been consistently focusing on the foundation of basic subjects, especially in the field of History of Chinese Dance and Dance Theory, which not only produces many research achievements, but also has a group of famous experts, scholars at home and abroad represented by Wu Xiaobang, Sun Jingchen, Dong Xijiu and Wang Kefen to team up the most qualified teaching team in this field nationally. During subject development of the recent 20 years, subjects are as follows: The Historiography of Dance, The Basic Theories of Dance, Dance Ecology, Dance Criticism, and Aesthetics of Dance, have remained leading academic position nationally.
